Welcome to the cityofthedes blog. I’m currently working on my family archives. For me, it’s a quest back in time, researching and investigating my roots. Trying to learn about myself by learning about those that came before me. It’s a quest I imagine has no end. I’ll just keep researching, reading, and investigating. So far, I’ve digitized a bunch of photos, some audio, some video, and I’ve begun crafting the family tree. My time is split between archiving and protecting my growing collection of family heirlooms, digitizing what I have, and brainstorming how best to get this information out to others.
